August 2025 Update

Automatic design screenshots, new cart and better overview

In August, we focused heavily on clarity and orientation. Especially with multiple products and designs, it wasn't always easy to see at a glance what exactly was in the cart or an order. The new changes address exactly this.

Automatic screenshots of the current design

While a customer designs their product, a screenshot of the current design is now automatically created in the background. The customer doesn't notice anything and the design process remains completely undisturbed.

These images help enormously in uniquely identifying products. Every design automatically gets a visual preview that is later used in the cart, when specifying sizes and quantities, and also in the admin area.

Redesigned product switching and new cart

Thanks to the automatically generated images, we were able to completely redesign the product switching and cart.

Instead of just displaying the product name, the design is now in focus. The new cart is built image-based and immediately shows which product goes with which design.

Images are also displayed when selecting sizes and quantities. This provides much better clarity, especially when multiple designs or products are being configured in parallel.

Visual redesign of orders in the admin dashboard

We've also visually redesigned the order overview in the admin dashboard. Orders and individual items are now displayed with images.

This makes assignment in everyday use much easier. At a glance, you can see which design belongs to which order without having to open details first.

Design screenshots in Shopify cart

To keep the experience consistent, the automatically generated design screenshots are now also transferred to Shopify.

The images appear directly in the Shopify cart. Customers can identify their products there just as clearly as in the Designer itself. This provides consistency and reduces uncertainty, especially with custom-designed products.

Conclusion

The August update primarily brings visual clarity. Automatic design screenshots, an image-based cart, and a redesigned order overview ensure that products and designs can always be uniquely assigned, from the first draft to checkout in Shopify.
